Founded in September 2008 by Rachel Pearson and Tim Peffers, the coaches of the internationally successful Leeds Celtic Cheerleaders, who aimed to expand upon their current program at the University of Leeds by devoting their time to creating a strong successful team with a close family atmosphere. .

They created their Schools program to create awareness and increase participation in cheerleading across Leeds and the surrounding areas. They wanted to give school children the chance to try something new and exciting whilst also encouraging young people to take part in more physical activity. .

Their training facility is the only one of it's kind in the north or England and it offers the opportunity to teach and learn new skills in a safe environment. Cheerleading enables young people to be creative and engage in a new, exciting and glamorous sport. Young people of any age or sex can improve health, attitude, commitment and motivation levels through cheerleading.
